She used the funds to buy hair attachments which she sells to her customers and others as a means of increasing her earnings. You need to hear the excitement in Uzo’s voice when she talks about her business.

Ogochukwu is a widow with three children. She used the money to boost her yam/plantain roasting and provisions business. She was finding it very difficult providing for her young children.

Chinyere is a widow with four children and a cleaner with a monthly salary of $20 CDN. She started a yam selling business
