4. To relieve poverty by providing necessities of life, including food, clean water,
medical supplies, clothing, and/or shelter for victims of disasters.

Our Statement of Faith
We believe that Jesus saves- John 3:16 – “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life”.
Romans 10:9-10 “That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved”.
We believe that putting God first is the foundation on which everything in our life is built-Genesis 6:33– “But put God’s kingdom first. Do what he wants you to do. Then all those things will also be given to you”.
We believe that we must revere God- Proverbs 9:10– “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding”.
We believe that without faith, it is impossible to please God -Hebrew 11:6 –“And without faith, it is impossible to please God because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him”.
Our History

ShaJirEl International Society is a Christian nonprofit founded by Chibuzo Stephanie Okigbo. This dream was given by God and born out of a desire to support people, maximize their capacity, and tap into all their latent potentials to live impactful lives. We believe that people can be whole and live full, impactful lives marked by excellence. The name comes ShaJirEl comes from Jehovah Shalom – Judges 6.24: “Then Gideon built an altar there to the Lord and called it, The Lord Is Peace”; Jehovah Jireh – Genesis 22:13 “And Abraham called the name of the place, The-LORD-Will-Provide; as it is said to this day, In the Mount of the LORD it shall be provided”; Jehovah Elshaddai – Genesis 17:1-2 “When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to him and said, I am God Almighty; walk before me faithfully and be blameless. Then I will make my covenant between you and me and will greatly increase
your numbers”.
